Top Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in Belgium: Q3 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, the performance of top navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in Belgium showcased diverse trends in downloads and active usage, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a strong presence with consistent weekly downloads, initially peaking at approximately 24K in early July before gradually declining to just over 10K by the end of September. The app's active user base hovered around 1.2M, experiencing minor fluctuations throughout the quarter.

Polarsteps Travel observed a declining trend in downloads from a high of about 23K at the start of the quarter to around 6K in the final week. Despite this, active users showed an early increase, reaching over 183K mid-quarter, before tapering off to just under 93K by September's end.

RouteYou - walking and cycling saw a positive trajectory in revenue, starting at $3.5K and closing the quarter at nearly $1.9K. Downloads peaked at 5.7K in late July, with active users peaking at over 38K in mid-August, demonstrating steady engagement with the app.

Google Earth maintained stable download numbers around 2.5K to 2.8K per week. Active users fluctuated between 38K and 44K, indicating a consistent user base throughout the quarter.

Lastly, Ulys experienced a notable decline in downloads, starting at approximately 3K and dropping below 200 by the end of the quarter. Active users also saw a downward trend, beginning at over 7K and ending close to 3.6K.
